I am a South Carolina native. I work between two studio locations, one located at my residence in the Lake Murray area of Columbia and the other located in the historical Whaley district of downtown Columbia. My practice includes woodcut and linoleum relief printmaking, Collagraphy, Mixed Media painting, collage, and sculpture. I am advocate for wabi-sabi, working with repurposed household materials, handmade papers, and the fusion of family ephemera into my works. Contextually my work is metaphorically rich and is rooted in the dichotomy of life and death, the temporal nature of our time upon the Earth, and the importance of living mindfully present.
